Welcome… to the website of The Greater Bath Area Chamber of Commerce!

We invite you to explore our website, and find out why we think that the Central Steuben County area in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Western New York State, has “Small Town Charm and a Home Town Feel.”

But don’t be fooled… we may be rural, but we’ve got plenty to do and see. How about stopping by an award-winning winery? Perhaps you’d rather lace up your hiking shoes, or spend the afternoon on a bike? Of course you could always do some shopping downtown in one of our friendly villages. Time your visit right, and you just might hear great live music in one of our village parks or take in the country’s oldest County Fair – who knew history could be so much fun?

Central Steuben County is a wonderful collection of communities. As the county seat, Bath offers a variety of services and is a community that is proud of its history and full of spirit. You will also find other friendly towns and villages close by, such as Avoca, Bradford, Campbell, Hammondsport, Kanona, Prattsburgh, and Savona. Each has its own unique charm and personality, and each would be pleased to welcome you. As you might guess, we are proud of our unique tourism attractions and shopping experiences. We are equally proud, however, of the world-class manufacturers and the farming families that call our area home.

Whether you are a local resident or a visitor to our beautiful area, we are certain you will find the services you need through our website, from accommodations, dining, and tourism attractions, to specialty service providers and a variety of retail shops. Just enter the name of a business, or even just a key word under “Search Members”, and let us help you find what you’re looking for.

Clearly, there is much to do throughout Central Steuben County, and our Chamber office, located on Pulteney Square in downtown Bath, is a great place to get started – just stop by or call the office at (607) 776-7122. During the Summer, you are also invited to stop at the visitor booth, a “can’t miss” on the corner of Liberty and Washington Streets (Routes 415 and 54).

Again, welcome to Central Steuben County …we look forward to seeing you!
