Member Benefits

Being a member of the Chamber entitles you to many benefits and services. The Chamber can cooperatively provide programs and services that a single business may not be able to provide for itself. Such benefits include:

Consolidated Advertising
Special promotions and events are advertised as a cooperative effort, reducing your need for individual advertising for these events.

Community Promotions
The Chamber works closely with retail sales events, cultural and musical events, area farmer's markets, festivals and parades. The Chamber annually sponsors Music in the Park series and the Spirit of Christmas to help promote its members.

Expanded Business Contacts
As a member you can expand your business contacts by attending the Chamber's Quarterly General Membership Meetings, the Annual Awards Dinner, and Special events. The Chamber joins with other Chambers and Tourism Organizations to provide social and business opportunities for all the members. All of these are great networking opportunities.

Publications
As a member, you can take advantage of the monthly newsletter, tourist brochures, organizational listings, and other visitor-related information. Advertising opportunities are available in several of these. Business Spotlights in the newsletter are also featured each month for new members.

Small Business Assistance
Periodically the Chamber offers seminars and workshops for existing and potential businesses.

Employee Benefits
The Chamber is able to offer plans for health insurance, HMO(s), PPO(s), Employee Assistance Programs and dental coverage that you, as a member, can provide to your employees as an employee benefit. These plans are offered at the Group rate.

Tourism
The Chamber provides assistance to thousands of people each year through the office, the tourist information booth in conjunction with the Bath Rotary Club, and information brochures. We also answer hundreds of visitor requests annually. As a Chamber member, we will be better able to guide these visitors your way, through our referrals to members as well as distribution of brochures you have.

Chamber Gift Certificate Program
Gift certificates may be purchased for any denomination at the Chamber office and are redeemable at any participating member businesses, thus providing you with an additional marketing outlet.

Chamber Referral Program
The chamber staff receives dozens of weekly calls requesting information such as hotels, bed and breakfast, furniture outlets, campgrounds etc. The staff will refer those inquires to you as a member.

Web Site
The Chamber offers its members a business listing on the Chamber website with a link to their individual website.
